Since July 8, all clients have a banner in the classic Scotia online experience to enable them to try the new experience. Users will have the ability to switch between both experiences.

To experience the new modernized Scotia online experience, clients will have access to the Try it now banner by following these steps:

1. Sign into their Scotia online account
2. Select Try it now on the Account summary page

Yes!  They’re ready for you today.

Until November, any changes you make to your Watchlists on the classic experience will be reflected in the new experience the following month.  This ensures that the new online experience, plus other Scotia iTRADE platforms you use (i.e. Trade Pro, mobile app) will have same set of Watchlists.

This is what you can expect:

1. If you have a Watchlist on the classic online experience with same name as that of a Watchlist on any other Scotia iTRADE platform (Trade Pro, mobile app and new online experience), then any missing symbols in these other platforms will be added.
2. If you have a Watchlist with a completely different name on the classic experience, then the entire Watchlist will be added to the other platform Watchlists.

The new online experience does not impact your use of the Scotia iTRADE mobile app or our active trading platform, Trade Pro. Keep using these platforms as you do today.

You can access these functions and features in the new experience already:

• Account balances
• Statements and tax documents
• Profile and settings
• Top 10 holdings and consolidated positions across all accounts
• Asset mix
• Performance
• Quotes and research content
• Transfers capabilities to/from Scotia iTRADE accounts
• Manage Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP)/Dividend Purchase Plan (DPP)
• Trading functionality for Stocks/ETFS, Options, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, and GICs & more

The following capabilities are not yet available and will be introduced at a later date:

• Communication Centre
• Scotia iTRADE trading desk™ (coming August 2024)
• Trading functionality for New Issues, IPOs
• Withdrawals from RRSP/Spousal RRSP accounts

You can easily toggle back to the classic experience by selecting the three-bar (hamburger) menu on the top right corner of your screen and selecting Go back to classic view.

You won’t need to re-enter your sign in information and can move between the classic and new platforms seamlessly.
